Could I commission you to write a sequel; The Road Home From Edo? I would love a "book-end" to wrap this up with, on the assumption that your traveller makes it to Edo. I could do this on my own, I guess, using the original as a template; but I like the way you arrange words.
What an incredible and lovely game. Thank you, Harvestmouse. I just bought your Long Road to Edo and had about a 50 minute adventure. Looking back at my journal, it was random and beautiful and visceral but deadly. My first travelling merchant, pure of heart and too naïve, perished on his journey. I'm actually a little sad but more determined than ever to see the trip completed now. Thank you again; well written prompts and an easy mechanic made this first adventure very worth it.
